Yes, or no? You would have to be crazy NOT to have your home in the MLS. Any Real Estate company who suggests that 'they own the market' & 'they can market your home as well without MLS' is just plain fibbing. Let's talk about it.

To do or not to do...that is NOT a question! In thirty years of being a Real Estate professional, I can assure you that plenty of people LIKE to drive around, 'hit' Open Houses & then call their Agents to put in offers. Yep, it's happened to me a hundred times & guess what: at the very least, if I put out a note to the Real Estate community that goes like this: "Please send your interested clients, with one of your business cards, to my Open House. I will honor your relationship with them & they can give you feedback on my listing'. How's that for being 'cooperative'?
